The MED-USA Network Company (the “Company”) was formed to construct, operate, and maintain an undersea fiber optic cable system that is known as the MEDiterranean – United States of America (“MED-USA”) network. MED-USA is offering direct submarine fiber-optic network connectivity between the USA and certain select jurisdictions bordering the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and/or Black Seas, and thus represents a new fiber route which avoids the increased latency and cost of intermediary transit facilities passing through Western Europe. To satisfy the demand for high-speed, low-latency fiber connectivity between each jurisdiction and the USA, the Company is offering an individual Fiber Pair (FP) delivering direct connectivity to each distinctive FP purchaser demonstrating the greatest demand for connectivity in their potential landing jurisdiction. MED-USA is using the Common Resource Consortium (or “CRC”) development model, which takes the hybrid consortium model used by ARCOS-1 in the Caribbean region, and then adds condominium-style ownership at the FP level. As a condominium-style owner, each FP purchaser automatically has MED-USA owner association membership. The MED-USA owner association, or MED-USA owner consortium, is the arrangement under which the Company-provided common resources are empowered to carry out the construction, operation, and maintenance of the MED-USA network on behalf of the FP purchasers. Potential MED-USA landing jurisdictions (outside of the USA) include Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Gaza, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, and Ukraine, as illustrated (in Figure 1) below: |

At each potential landing jurisdiction, MED-USA could be exclusively controlled by one local FP purchaser, or shared non-exclusively among multiple FP purchasers. Either way, each FP purchaser must be financially capable of supporting their share of the MED-USA network, including the cost of purchasing, operating, and maintaining their FP for an estimated 25-year design life. Since the MED-USA feasibility study is now entering into the final stages, potential FP purchaser candidates are encouraged to contact us soon to learn how the MED-USA network will be implemented and operated for the MED-USA owner consortium of FP purchasers. After completing an industry-standard Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (MNDA) with the Company, additional information will be provided to interested parties, including potential FP purchasers, investors, sponsors, supporters, angels, agents, contributors, lenders, donors, government agencies, etc. Please submit a Contact Us request to learn more about the MED-USA Network.
